The images above are ones that i have took outside, to resemble the theme, 'The streets'. When taking them i have looked carefully to what is in the picture. I have also done black and white edits of my favorite photos. I have took photos that have symetry and some that also have empty space. Below i have edited my final image and explained what i did when editing it.
My Final piece.
To the right is an annotated photo of Henri cartier-Bresson's work, and to the right is my analysed photograph. This shows where and how the photo has been composed. The arrows represent the direction in which the person is looking at it, and what ways there eyes are going whilst looking at the photo. The main feature in my photograph (right) is the lake running down in between the two pavements . This is what someone would focus on when looking at the photograph, and how it bends around the corner.
I have took the images above in a street in Italy. I have changed the photograph from colour, to black and white. I have done this as i feel that it is more similar to the artists work, and that it defines the objects in the photograph more clearly.
I feel that my photgraphs relate to the artists work as i have chosen to take the photo at a specific point, so i have chosen exactly what is in the photograh. On the third photograph i have edited it more, whilst is black and white. I have emphasised the shadows on the photograph, so it stands out more; especially on the water. This makes the photo more darker and vibrant than my original photograph i took.

Above, on the right photo, i have placed a red grid on the photograph i have chosen as my final peice. I have done this to show the different sections of the photograh, and how it has divided. In the middle section of the grid shows the main part of the photo and what your eyes are directed to when looking at the photo. I have placed the grid on the photo to make the photgraph clear.
